Multi-talented singer, songwriter, and producer Colin Munroe releases his free mixtape, Unsung Hero. The Toronto-native shows off his eclectic taste in music with ten songs displaying fusion of all types of genres. Lil' Wayne, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, ASAP Rocky to Perform at 2012 MTV VMAs

The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards got that much hotter with an infusion of Hip-Hop acts set to hit the stage. Lil' Wayne, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, and A$AP Rocky have been added to the performance lineup. Weezy is set to perform the second single off his I Am Not A Human Being II LP, 'No Worries,' which you can download on his Dedication 4 mixtape. Nicki Minaj will perform with a secret guest, while 2 Chainz and A$AP Rocky will make their VMAs debut. Rocky will be joining Rihanna to perform their remix to 'Cockiness' that released earlier today.

The four joins a stacked lineup that already includes One Direction, Taylor Swift, Pink, Green Day and Frank Ocean. The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards airs live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday at 8 p.m. EST.

Nas Performs with Lauryn Hill & Scarface at Rock the Bells 2012

The annual Rock the Bells Festival wrapped up at the at the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey on Sunday night. And who better to close the event than Nas. From street anthems, to classic hits, and recent cuts off his Life Is Good album, Nas treated fans to a flawless set that included a few friends. Both Lauryn Hill and Scarface made appearances alongside the Queens MC, with the latter performing 'Hip-Hop' off DJ Khaled's Kiss the Ring LP for the first-time ever.

This was such a big moment for Philly hip-hop. When Jay came and signed up the State Property gang in the early 2000s, Illadeph was on a hip-hop high. Lead by Beanie Sigel, guys like Freeway, Young Chris, Neef, Oschino, Omillio, Peedi Crakk and others got their chance to shine on the Roc. As we all know the almighty Roc-A-Fella Records eventually crumbled, but as grown men, Hov and his lil Philly brothers are able to shake hands and restore the magic that once was Roc and State P. Even iif ts only for one night. Relive it all with a special performance of 'What We Do' with Jay, Free, and the Young Gunz.

Drake Avoids All Those 'Fake Friends' at #MadeInAmerica (Video)

Day 2 of Jay-Z's Made In America festival is still coming to a close with Pearl Jam gearing up to finish it out. Earlier today, Rita Ora, Run DMC, Odd Future and more helped keep everyone's spirits high as the rain poured down on Philly. However, the skies did clear when it was time for Drake to make his highly anticipated performance. He kept the guest surprises minimal with just 2 Chainz and French stepping out to perform 'No Lie' and 'Pop That.' Still Drake was sharp and definitely pleased the crowd. One thing that did seem to catch people's attention was his several references to rolling with 'real friends over fake friends.' He didn't seem to hint at anyone particular but made the reference about 'real vs fake' a few times. Check out the video clip above.

Day of 1 Jay-Z's Made In America festival has been very on-point so far. Budweiser and Live Nation really did a great job of organizing and making sure everything ran smooth. The performances started on time and the amenities have made it feel almost like a mini Coachella. Performance wise, Meek Mill and Jay Electronica's stood out to me. With the Philly love behind him, you really saw Meek enjoying his time onstage and putting on for his city. Jay's was just random but great to see that he really is putting this damn album out and ready to do so. The biggest revelation from his set was his announcement of his upcoming single featuring Chris Brown. Was he serious??
