Tomorrow marks the 18-year anniversary of the hip-hop classic Illmatic, VH1 celebrates with a special Behind The Music episode starring Nas. The Queensbridge MC documents his childhood days growing up in a tough neighbourhood, the separation of his parents, his introduction to rap music, and the violent loss of his close friend Ill Will. The one-hour feature continues with Nas' well documented beefs with Tupac Shakur and Jay-Z, before touching on his much publicized messy divorce with Kelis. The special features appearances from Common, Q-Tip, Russell Simmons, Large Professor, and members of Nas' family.
