Whitney Houston will never be forgotten, and her legacy continues in the video for 'Celebrate' off the Sparkle soundtrack. The final recording before Whitney's untimely death features Jordin Sparks, who also co-stars in the 1976 Motown-era film remake that hits theaters on August 10. For the celebratory single, Sparks throws a house party with fellow co-stars Mike Epps, Derek Luke, Goapele, Tika Sumpter, Carmen Ejogo, and Omari Hardwick. While Sparks never got to record with the late pop icon, she calls the experience to work with such an artist 'amazing.'
'I would have loved to be in the studio with her, but with Whitney's schedule it got so crazy [we never] found the time to get together, so we recorded it separately. But it was amazing to be able to go in after she had already finished her part' It was so cool because you could just hear the smile in Whitney's voice when she was singing it.'
