Earlier this afternoon, Lil' Wayne took to Twitter and officially announced the fourth installment of his Dedication mixtape series is coming in August. The follow-up to 2008's Dedication 3 will likely serve as a precursor to Weezy's upcoming I Am Not A Human Being II album, due later this year. In an exclusive interview with MTV News, DJ Drama confirmed Weezy's announcement and speaks how talks originally came about.
'Me & Cortez had been talkin back & forth for for bout a year that it was almost time for D4. He said Tunechi had been mentioning it and was gearing up. During the Vegas stop on Club Paradise tour, Tez told me it was a 100% go. I told him thank god, cuz the fans invade my twitter daily asking about it! Dram & Wayne is a dangerous combination. Shout out to the Mixtape Weezy. Get ready.'
