Lil Wayne Tells DJ Drama Skateboarding Has Taken Priority Over Music

In support of their upcoming Dedication 4 mixtape, Weezy called into DJ Drama for a candid interview about the project, his top 3 mixtapes, the MTV Video Music awards, being 2 Chainz' 'real friend', 1992 Dream Team vs 2012 Team USA, BG going to jail, and more.

However, the most interesting part of the interview is when Wayne admits skateboarding is more of a priority than rap. He sounds dead serious, too. (7:50 min mark)

'I picked up the skateboard and I thought it would be a hobby but it's a lifestyle. You have to be fully committed,' Wayne continued. 'It's kinda of putting rap on the backburner, that's all. Rap is taking backseat to skating. I deserve that.'

Thank you Wayne. Once your done trying to be Circa 2001 Pharell, feel free to come back to hip hop.

Damn I feel like Pusha T's exodus really scared the hell out of this guy. He wants NO parts what so ever.
